HyTEC was a co-funded government initiative that created two new European hydrogen passenger vehicle deployment centres in London and Copenhagen – cities that are widely recognised as synonymous with the goal of developing and then adopting ultra-low carbon urban transport solutions.
From September 2011 – October 2015 HyTEC demonstrated up to 30 new commercial hydrogen vehicles in the hands of end-users; taxis, passenger cars/vans and scooters. These were supported by the SmartFuel® hydrogen fuelling facilities in London.
